Overview:

Maintenance Engineers are ace. With such knowledge of fixing complicated bits of kit, they make the world go round as we know it. True heroes, it could be strongly argued. But there comes a time where you need a true stepping stone in to a proper long term career. So how does working for a company that has tripled in size over the last 3 years (that with COVID thrown in) sound?

On that basis, I have 2 Maintenance Engineer roles open for a hugely established UK brand. We’re not even looking for the “finished articles”, but a strong engineer with, ideally, electrical skills who wants to really forge a career.

If you are lacking skills, we can train you up as we have a large and hugely skilled exiting maintenance team. We will happily pay for any qualifications and training you want, we just want a wiling and commitment.

The Person:

As alluded to, we are pretty open to the person we bring in here. Some companies get way bogged down on sector, skill set and experience. We’re different, we’re building a team to last so the personality and work ethic is absolutely key and what we look for first and foremost.

In the real world, if you have maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment with M&E skills, that will put you at the top end of the pay scale. But if your only mechanical OR electrical and want to learn, ex forces or even field based, we still want to talk to you.

The role:

A classic maintenance role in an FMCG production environment. So a lot of this is reactive as it’s a 24/7 production environment, but an environment where you will in an experienced team and shown how it’s done but a lot of project work and PPM too.

The company has grown so much over the last few years and will continue to do so due to sheer demand that the role evolves month on month, but keeping production running is key.

The company:

This is for a household UK company that truly believe in the investment of their staff. A company who will fund that next NVQ, HNC or 18th Edition – but want a person who wants to achieve it…
