This is your chance as a Head of Infrastructure to join our client’s infrastructure and Operations team.

As of October you will be expected to go into the office only 4 days per months.
Flexible hours can vary so long that you are active during their core hours which are 10-12 and 2-4.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise gained through current, hands-on experience in developing systems, excellent interpersonal and management skills along with the ability to quickly develop strong working relationships in a complex environment. As the Head of Infrastructure, you will carry out a wide range of activities, from devising code and dealing with operational matters to architectural design of systems. You will manage the teams that are responsible for supporting the Infrastructure and IaaS teams.
You will work under the Associate Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations on a number of areas. In the Operations team and Infrastructure teams you will manage and lead 6 individuals to ensure that all work is done to the quality that is expected.
The Head of Infrastructure will work with third party providers to deliver support and solutions. You will be responsible for training, setting objectives and supporting the teams you will be leading as you will be accountable for their actions.
The Head of Infrastructure will be responsible for the development, management and administration of a range of complex specialist cyber security software and services to ensure that the client is compliant with the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit and standards such as the Government Cyber Essentials Plus framework.
– Experience of leadership in an infrastructure team
– AWS Certified – SysOps Administrator.
