Health & Safety Trainer

Home based with travel in the southern region

£51,300 + £3k car allowance + 10% bonus

Health & Safety your thing? Passionate about sharing your knowledge?

We have the role for you!

We’re working on behalf of a private company set in line by the department of health who help support the UK’s most valued service provider. They’re looking for a new H&S Trainer to help bring the workforce in the south up to speed with industry recognized qualifications and skills.

That’s where you come in…

As an experienced Health & Safety Trainer you’ll know what the day-to-day of the role entails; Compiling training materials and training plans catering for different learning styles, engaging with staff across all levels of the business in a personal supportive manner, marking the homework and ensuring a fully H&S compliant team across the south.

Where this role differs is the environment you’ll work in. Your new Manager gets it, he’s been there in the past, travelling across the entire UK with strict deadlines and weeks away from home, it’s not sustainable. The team itself is split in half covering the North and South. With a flexible working model, travel expectations set realistically with your input being valued whilst maintaining a lot of social support within the H&S team this is a great opportunity to get a hold of your workload and manage it in a way that works best for you.

Ideally you have experience delivering accredited courses to hands on teams including IOSH/NEBOSH, first aid, manual handling etc alongside a training qualification such as PTLLS or CTLLS. You understand how different people learn and you can cater to these needs with exciting and diverse training materials.

The H&S team you will be joining are a friendly bunch and despite the fact a lot of them WFH, they’re a close knit group meeting up and always ready to crack a joke to let off steam in the group chat before a big deadline.

Alongside getting a big chunk of job satisfaction from this role there are a lot of advantages to working for one of the UK’s most valued employers. They prioritise work life balance so you get 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays on top), NHS discounts, car allowance, 10% performance based bonus and lots of opportunity to develop yourself professionally with funded courses and training.

Package

£51,300 basic salary

10% discretionary bonus

27 days holiday (+8 bank holidays)

Great pension plan

£3k car allowance

NHS Discount/Blue light card
