The Opportunity
This opportunity will see a customer focussed IT Desktop Support tech join the Service Desk of a leading delivery and logistics provider based in their Liverpool Offices.
The team is led by Rachel who is renowned for the support and development of her team.
The environment is friendly and collaborative and you will get the chance to work with and learn from some talented team mates.
The role is varied and each day and task will be different with the opportunity to upskill in other areas and technologies by working with some bespoke software.
We have supported this client for a few years now and the Service Desk Team is very stable and the candidates we have placed into the team have remained due to an enjoyable and challenging working environment.

The Role
Your role will be based in the 1st line support team assisting both external customers and colleagues. The Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for all internal/external customers’ incidents whilst providing effective management of the customer relationship during the support call process.
Part of a team of 6 colleagues on the 1st line team, the right candidate will care about delivering excellent customer experience whilst managing expectations.
The Candidates we want
The ideal IT Desktop Support candidate will have previous experience in a 1st line Service Desk support role in a service orientated environment. As the role is working closely with internal teams and external customers, we I’ll need you to have strong communication skills and a customer service focussed attitude

MS Office (versions from 2000 to 2010)
Windows OS (versions from XP to Windows 7)
MS Exchange (2003) Outlook and e-mail mailbox management
Hardware builds / configuration – laptops, desktops and thin clients
Working Hours
Working on a rota of 3 shifts covering hours from: 7am to 3pm; 8am to 4.30pm and 9.30am to 6pm
