The Role: Junior Network Engineer
Package: Salary up to £28,000 plus benefits
The role will be office based as well as shift based
This role is a London based role but will be supporting the clients Network Operations team, who manage and deploy the clients FWA and FTTP Networks. You will play a unique part in the company’s growth going into the future, this is a great opportunity to get into this position and make an impact and a name for yourself in an ever growing industry.

The company is one of the biggest broadband providers to rural hard to reach communities, with being able to improve and provide them a lightning fast broadband service that you would only see in the city. That includes homes, businesses and complex outdoor sites.
While this is a role within the Network Operations Team, you will be supporting in the deployment and management of our FWA and FTTP Networks, giving you the chance to work with engineers in the field with issues escalated from other members of the team. You will be handling network issues within the Network Operations Team and across the FWA and FTTP Network Estate.
This is a great opportunity for somebody with minimal industry exposure and experience to jump into a role with a unique client to gain the chance you have been waiting for to show this industry what you are capable of.
Getting straight to the point, ideally you’ll have a good understanding of L2/L3 networking, FWA Networks and experience working with Broadband Networks. Knowledge and experience of configuring and troubleshooting basic networks would be an advantage.
Helpful real world experience with hands-on network engineering, FWA multivendor knowledge, good experience with Network Monitoring Platforms, VLAN’s, PPPoE, DHCP Static routing, NAT/PAT, Tunnelling
For this role, at least 1 years’ experience in WISP/ISP telecommunications is preferred
