The opportunity for you

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join a rapidly growing Telecommunication Infrastructure owner and provider who are supporting businesses and homes across the UK and internationally by keeping their networks connected to the world through FTTP/Full Fibre services.

The company have recently received heavy investment to connect 38,000 residential properties across the North West as well as contracts already in place delivering full fibre connections in other parts of the UK.

Your role as a Procurement Manager is to come into a start-up environment and to “write the book” for best practices in procurement and to manage all procurement activities across the business.

This is a real chance a to set a function up from scratch and to play a key part in a senior role of a growing business.

Package wise, they’ve got some flexibility and would suggest circa £60k depending on the experience you can bring to their cause, car allowances an bonus’ can be discussed also.

We also have flexibility on the working location but their plan is to select an office in Birchwood Warrington area and this would also be part of your role and working closely with the CEO.

Your background

We are looking ideally for someone who has Procurement experience within a telecoms or utilities domain. The purchasing of equipment for large scale infrastructure builds ideally.

As you can hopefully tell from the above, we are also looking for someone who is used to or at least comfortable coming into a very fresh start up style business, where structure and process are being built on perfected on a daily basis, but not the finished article of yet.
