In your new QS role you’ll manage our costs across a public sector contract to make sure we’re delivering the best service possible to our clients whilst remaining in line with budgets. Whether that’s getting the most competitive price from a HVAC supplier or ensuring accurate labour loading and invoicing you’ll oversee the supply chain to ensure best practice.

We pride ourselves on the quality and consistently of information we give our client about their commercial property portfolio so a big part of your role will be analysis and running asset registers. You’ll help us (and them) track the costs of maintaining their sites, map out strategies for future works and find areas where we can improve. This is a crucial part of our relationship with our client so your contribution won’t go unnoticed.

To hit the ground running you will need to come from a commercial surveying background in FM or Property Management.

Intermediate MS Excel skills (labour loading, asset registers, pivot tables etc..) to be able to run the business analyst side of the role will be a big benefit. If you enjoy collaborating with lots of different people; from your colleagues on the contract to external suppliers to the client themselves this job is going to suit you.

We’re only a small QS team at the moment but the organisation is growing quickly which means there are big plans for us in the future and it’s expected you will continue to develop your commercial and surveying skills to progress upwards (perhaps Senior QS) in line with that.

Package

£35k – £50k basic salary (dependent upon experience)

25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
