HV Design Manager
London
£100k – £120k plus bonus
Fancy taking the lead on the biggest renewables projects in the UK? Want to make a real mark on our net-zero goals?
As HV Design Manager you’ll lead on a large scale, grid connected BESS projects, supported by a team of 10 Design Engineers. Whilst day-to-day feasibility studies, designs and energy modelling will be conducted by your team you’ll act as point of escalation and get the final say on proposals. You’ll also be the design representative to the clients and other stakeholders like the National Grid.
To deal with future projects you’ll also be developing that team underneath you to double in headcount over the next 12 months, making sure they have the systems, processes and support in place to keep doing a great job.
Given the nature of this role you will need a degree in electrical engineering and a background in designing large scale renewable projects. Any experience on energy storage projects would be the cherry on top.
Leading design teams in the past is also essential.
