The Role – Network / Cabling Engineers

Location – London and Manchester with extensive UK and European Travel

Intelligent data linked to professional sports is here to say, and the evolution of data in many decision making processes is only continuing to increase.

To support that, we’re working with one of the global leaders in sports technology and are looking to recruit a number of engineers across the UK who will be mainly installing their next generation technology into British sports stadium and then in time, branching out across stadiums in Europe.

The equipment sits on fibre optic infrastructure so we’re looking for high end fibre and structured cabling engineers, with a good grasp of routing and switching to join the team on a permanent basis and you’ll maintain and manage the kit domestically and internationally.

This is mainly installation and commissioning work but will also cover troubleshooting and maintenance and the key is the network infrastructure, as much of the kit is bespoke and training will be given on the CPE the infrastructure connects.

Flexibility is going to be a big deal on this one as while the roles are UK focused at the moment, the likelihood is that the positions will have more of a European flavour in around 12 months, meaning you could be travelling 50% of the time (It’s fully business expensed).

Some of the work will be at heights (Football stadiums) so you would need to be OK with that although specific climbing tickets are not needed.
