The Role: Senior NOC Engineer

Location: London (Liverpool St.)

Package: Salary to £55,000 plus 25% shift allowance with benefits including 25 days holiday, pension, BUPA health, gym membership.

Working hours on a rotating shift basis (Including some nights) to support the UK, USA and AsiaPAC markets..

This role is a London based position but will be supporting the global network operations function for a market leading SaaS and connectivity business.

Based in the London office @ Liverpool Street, we are looking to an additional senior engineer for the network operations team and this is working for a listed / market leading technology companies with a real presence out in the USA, Europe and AsiaPac.

Working globally, you’ll assist with bringing live new customer locations smoothly and efficiently as well as providing technical support for equipment and services at existing customer locations. The roles will involve in-depth working with LAN/WAN, wired and wireless network technologies, RADIUS and a variety of bespoke orchestration tools and platforms.

In a nutshell, you’ll be a customer facing NOC engineer with plenty of remote support experience and while not vendor specific, we would expect Cisco CCNP or Juniper JNCIS level and the routing and switching / service provider route would be ideal.

Real world experience with some of the following hardware/software: Juniper, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, Extreme Networks, Cisco BroadWorks, FreeRADIUS, MySQL and of course, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, LACP

Prior experience of working rotating shifts would be perfect, but isn’t essential.

Due to the shift pattern, you’ll get a guaranteed uplift of 25% on top of base and flexible working is in place, typically 2 days per week in the office and rest is WFH. Evening shifts would all be work from home but they won’t start until Spring 2025.
