The Role: Billing Manager

Location: Liverpool, with hybrid working

12 month fixed term contract paying circa £50,000 with private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus bank, life assurance & pension.

This is a role working for a long established telecoms MSP, who offer a range of connectivity solutions and managed services to business customers across the UK.

A role has come up for a billing manager to join the business on an initial 12 month fixed term contract and we’re looking for someone to come in and lead the national team, ensuring a seamless transition as the existing manager goes onto maternity leave.

This is the telecoms industry, so we’ll be looking for someone that comes from telecoms or potentially, an ISP or MSP but definitely business to business financial service provider experience alongside that proven people leadership.

It’s a varied role, and you’ll own escalated invoicing queries, manage PO’s prior to payment, manage supplier price increases or changes and then the associated communications with the business and customer base but it’s just billing, and you wouldn’t get involved with revenue assurance or credit control etc.

Finance system is MS Dynamics Great Plains and billing system is Union Street.

Team consists of 5 people, based in the Liverpool area and the company are going through various streamlining projects in line with a number of recent acquisitions. Company HQ is London, but this is a hybrid role and you would be in the Liverpool city centre office maybe 1-2 days per week.
