Global IT Project Manager

Location: London (Liverpool St.)

Package: Salary in the range of £60-65,000 with benefits including 25 days holiday, pension, BUPA health, gym membership.

This IT Project Management role is a London based position but will be supporting the global technology solutions for a market leading connectivity business.

The responsibility is Global and you’ll be expected to oversee projects across all regions, using geographically local, internal and 3rd party vendor resources as appropriate. The role will encompass scoping all projects, identifying resources and vendor availability to deliver, obtaining budget approval, and executing a clear project plan to deliver

This is network technology into commercial real estate and flexible workspace and specifically, you’ll be looking to deliver and enhance the IT / network infrastructure that will “Light up” buildings and science parks across the World.

The company are a listed, British success story so it’s an innovative, fast moving and customer driven environment which is going to require an agile mindset plus a flexible attitude when it comes to delivering projects in a global basis.

You’ll use local resource and have local support but need to be ready to support and contribute from the UK across different time zones so any previous project management and delivery experience across the USA / AsiaPac would be useful but certainly isn’t essential.

Your background:

We are looking to talk to project managers that come from an IT infrastructure background and the ideal would be experience of delivering IT / network infrastructure into commercial real estate partners or flexible workspace / PropTech but otherwise, we’d be happy to talk with IT project managers that are in a technical service provider.

You’ll have a solid understanding of networking connectivity and will be able to point to a strong track record of delivery within an agile environment.

This is an important point – if you are looking for structure and clear process then this role isn’t for you – it’s a fluid environment that is going to need you to spin a lot of plates to get projects delivered so while this goes against the grain for a lot of project managers, you need to be able to think on your feet in a constantly changing technology delivery environment so please take note of this.

You’ll manage your own week accordingly and the company embrace flexible working and video, so it is a hybrid working model by way of some time in the office (2-3 days), and some time working from home.
