Group Head of Health, Safety and Environment

Location: Birmingham, with hybrid working

Package: £65-85k with solid benefits, to include private health & dental, profit share, life insurance.

We’re working on behalf of a Property Management service provider who focus on the safety, efficiency and sustainability of their managed buildings. This is a new role, on a national basis and sitting in the group function, we’re looking for someone to base from the Central Birmingham office but with flexible working being in place.

A strategy based position, and you’ll be leading the HSE team to implement improvements across the client commercial real estate portfolios and work with fellow stakeholders across FM and building standards that will help to maintain the ongoing growth of the business.

The company are ethically driven and hold B-Corp status, so are keen on practising what they preach and that’s a passion you are going to need to share.

What is in place at the moment, how can that be improved and then implement the new plan across the UK – that’s the high level remit.

Your background:

A national leader in HSE, from the commercial property sector who has a passion for sustainability and ideally, CMIOSH (Or equivalent) IEMA practitioner and a solid knowledge at audit and implement level of ISO 14001, 45001, 9001 and 22301.

You’ll need to be within range of Birmingham and while you’ll be given the flexibility to manage your own week, reality is you’ll spend some time in the office, some WFH and then some at the regional locations across the UK – but common sense will be used alongside business reasoning.
