Job Role: Senior Desktop Engineer

Location: Liverpool office (Hybrid working)

Salary: £35-40k plus standard benefits

The Opportunity for you…

Are you currently working as a senior desktop engineer, and looking to join a company that offers progression? Then this is the job for you. Due to an internal promotion, our client is looking to add to their desktop engineering team.

As a senior desktop engineer you will be working for a leading delivery and logistics provider based in their Liverpool office. With online shopping rapidly taking over the high street this could not be a better time to start working for a continuously growing delivery company!

You will be working within the desktop infrastructure team fixing IT issues from internal colleagues and external customers to ensure the business can run smoothly. You’ll maintain and support hardware and software across all end-user devices including laptops, desktop PCs and thin-clients and you’ll be working in a busy office environment and will have to be customer focused and able to manage customer expectations.

If you have hands on experience working in a desktop engineering environment at 2nd or 3rd line, then this could be the opportunity for you. We’re after someone who has experience with desktop troubleshooting and can come and hit the ground running. As well as this, it is important that you have the right attitude, and are willing to learn whatever you don’t know. You will also be mentoring a junior member of staff whilst working in this role.
