Job Role: Warehouse Transport Manager

Location: Liverpool

Salary: Circa £50k + Car (or car allowance), 10% Bonus, Private Health, Pension

The Opportunity for you…

Due to a recent internal promotion to the Global Distribution Manager, we are currently looking to recruit a Transport Warehouse Manager based in Liverpool. As a Transport Warehouse Manager, you will supervise 4 warehouses across England, varying in size, with the main hub being located in Liverpool. Day to day responsibilities will include ensuring that the warehouses operate at peak efficiency, training and managing warehouse staff to overcome any operational issues, analyse productivity and then develop actionable plans and much more.

This role is working for one of the UK’s biggest flooring suppliers, turning over billions of pounds each year, with their HQ based in Newry, NI. This company has recently been acquired by one of the world’s biggest flooring supplier firm and, as such, has been a part of a number of different mergers and acquisitions here in the UK, in turn, increasing their warehouse and staffing count.

As mentioned above, this role has come about because the last Warehouse Transport Manager was promoted to Global Distribution Manager showing the great progression that this role has to offer.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone who is proven in warehouse management and you’ll likely have 5+ years’ experience in this environment (CPC qualified). Due to the location of their main site, you will have to be based within a commutable distance from Liverpool. You’ll be well versed in using various ERP systems (SAP preferable but not essential) and also have experience with warehouse management systems.

Working Hours

You will be working the hours of 08:00 – 16:30.
