Telecoms Network Field Engineer (Wi-Fi)

Remote with regional coverage in South Wales across to Cheltenham

£35,000- £40,000 depending on experience, van + fuel

Opportunity:

This opportunity will see you joining an expanding, well-known internet service network provider. Our client look after Wi-Fi solutions into hundreds of sites across the UK, including care homes, holiday parks, army barracks and MDU’s.

This role will be maintaining and improving network solutions across the South Wales region, working across to Cheltenham, ensuring maximum uptime for many of our country’s elderly population living in residential and dementia care homes.

They are looking to expand their field engineering team due to recently winning the largest project in the company’s history, resulting in a need for another field engineer to cover this region. This company are constantly winning new contracts meaning that new sites are getting lit up every single day!

This is remote position, so you will travel from home to site, but we are looking for candidates based around the South Wales / Cheltenham area in order to be able to commute to the various sites. We will, from time to time, require travel outside this area as business requirements dictate, however, this is not very often and notice will be given in advance.

Your main responsibility will be to work within your network field engineering team to attend all various sites requiring site activations / provisions of wireless surveys and technical and infrastructure fault calls.

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a field engineer that can come in and hit the ground running. We’re after someone with prior experience in configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment across Wi-Fi networks.
