Bid Manager (6 month FTC)

Leicester (hybrid working)

£55k – £65k plus benefits

We’re working on behalf of a rapidly expanding total facilities management organisation with a bright and very successful bid team. Only problem is word has spread about how good they are and ITTs are streaming in faster than your fellow Estimators can work on them.

That’s where you come in…

As an experienced bid professional you’ll know what the day-to-day entails; its building financial models, producing tender documentation, engaging with our supply chain to get costings and obtaining feedback – essentially end-to-end bid process management.

Where this role differs is the environment you’ll work in. Your manager gets it, she’s been where you are (at present they’re so busy she’s back to writing bids!), appreciates how hard you work and rewards that. The team itself offers a lot of social support, someone’s always ready to crack a joke to let off steam in the group chat before a big deadline.

As they are so busy it would be great if you could hit the ground running – meaning you would need previous experience estimating and writing FM bids before.

The bid team over there is large and, despite the fact that everyone works remotely, close knit so to enjoy yourself there you’ll be a people person who likes collaborating with others.

There’s a lot of growth going on with this organisation and the bids team is crucial to that so there’s lots of opportunities for you to go permanent if that’s what you’re looking for.

You’ll be joining a growing FM business. This isn’t one of the industry behemoths like ISS or Mitie or a one-man band. That sweet spot means their support for you is going to be more personal but you still get a decent benefits package. £55k – £65k basic salary (dependent upon experience)
