Role: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Blackburn (Park Lane)

Package: £27,000-£37,000 DOE, plus company van

Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to work with one of the UK’s most valued service providers, on a 3 month fixed-term basis, in Blackburn. Our client holds one of the largest portfolios in the UK, comprising more than 3000 properties, ranging from listed buildings through to state-of-the-art integrated health campuses.

Day to day, your main responsibility as an Electrical Maintenance Technician will be to deliver scheduled, reactive and remedial maintenance services, ensuring that operational standards are always maintained.

What will your role look like?
-Deliver maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner (CAFM), helpdesk or Technical Services Supervisor in accordance with all Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies
-Fault finding, minor repairs or installations, and maintaining services and equipment within critical environments
-Problem-asses to determine best course of action, including complex technical issues, communicating to key stakeholders as required

What are we looking for?
We would like to speak to you if you have a;
-City and Guilds (18th edition) – Essential
and if you have either of the following;
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Install or Electrical Maintenance or equivalent
BTEC City & Guilds plus relevant experience and Training
Formal apprenticeship or craft trained and registered Approved Electrician
-Full driving licence and ability to pass DVLA check – Essential
-Ability to pass DBS check – Essential
-On-call availability
-Industry experience
-Confidence in using technological devices to log jobs
-Comfortable with travelling to sites within the local area
